Why become a member?
Council members are committed to advancing international education, promoting multicultural engagement, encouraging thoughtful discourse, and extending hospitality through a diverse range of global initiatives. Both corporate and individual members enjoy a variety of meaningful opportunities, including:
- Hosting international leaders: Engage directly with global visitors through the U.S. State Department’s International Visitor Leadership Program, fostering cross-cultural understanding and diplomacy.
- Participating in high-level dialogue: Gain access to exclusive conversations with ambassadors, global thought leaders, authors, and policy experts on pressing international issues.
- Networking and cultural exchange: Connect with professionals and peers at multicultural seminars, educational programs, and social gatherings that build global awareness and collaboration.
- Supporting global education: Volunteer for and support WorldQuest, an annual international knowledge competition that challenges and inspires high school students across the region.
- Honoring global impact: Celebrate outstanding contributions to international affairs at signature events such as the Gateway Globes and the Humanitarian of the Year awards.
Corporate sponsors and individual members’ fees enable the Council to fulfill its mission as the St. Louis entity developing mutually beneficial partnerships with other countries and promoting global citizenry, friendship among nations, and multicultural understanding.
