Annual Resource Recognition
Honoring IVLP and Speaker ResourcesAbout Resource Recognition
The World Affairs Council continues its 75th Anniversary with a special visit from Jay Paxton, Chief Public Affairs Officer at the North American Treaty Alliance (NATO) Allied Command as NATO also celebrates its 75th Anniversary. We will also toast and recognize our members and volunteers for their support. Refreshments and networking included.
The World Affairs Council of St. Louis plays a crucial role in hosting hundreds of international guests as part of the U.S. State Department’s International Visitor Leadership Program. During their time in St. Louis, these visitors interact with a wide spectrum of professional leaders and community members. It’s worth noting that all local participants engaged in these exchanges are volunteers. Furthermore, our Council’s other programs, such as WorldQuest and Great Decisions, also rely on the dedicated support of volunteers.
Historically, our annual Resource Recognition Event is an exclusive gathering reserved for our esteemed IVLP resources, dedicated volunteers, and valued members.
This year, the Council is excited to open this event to the public as we are honored to host Mr. Jay Paxton from NATO. This special occasion serves as a token of our appreciation for their efforts and unwavering support throughout the year to ensure we can fulfill our mission and produce impactful programs.
