The Founders of the World Affairs Council of St. Louis were distinguished members of the St. Louis community who came together after World War II to form an organization to educate local citizens about global affairs. They believed that such education would encourage multilateral cooperation among nations to avoid future world wars. Today, we continue their mission to connect St. Louis with the world through citizen diplomacy.
