ST. LOUIS UNIVERSITY ACADEMIC WORLDQUEST PRESENTED BY THE WORLD AFFAIRS COUNCIL OF ST. LOUIS

In February, Fort Zumwalt West emerged victorious in the

St. Louis University Academic WorldQuest presented by the World Affairs Council of St. Louis. We hosted thirty one teams from across the region, sending Fort Zumwalt West to Washington D.C. where they finished 9th in the nation.

GREAT DECISIONS SPEAKER SERIES

Throughout 2025, UMSL Global and the World Affairs Council cohosted six events on the Foreign Policy Association’s Great Decisions program to highlight key global topics and speakers with unique expertise on foreign policy issues. Topics ranged from conversation on European security to the Indian-American community in St. Louis.

INTERNATIONAL VISITOR LEADERSHIP PROGRAM 

Thank you to the St. Louis leaders and Dinner Diplomats who met with several international visitors throughout the year. The World Affairs Council of St. Louis met with groups from Japan, India, Kosovo, Germany and a number of other countries, showing these groups around the St. Louis community and building connections with local experts on topics such as agriculture and international trade.
